PiPA Strategic Partnership

We are pleased to announce we have signed a Strategic Partnership agreement with PiPA (Parents and Carers in Performing Arts), striving towards creating a more family-friendly performing arts industry.

We worked with PiPA (Parents and Carers in Performing Arts) on a project to enhance their working with parents and carers in the performing arts in Wales, focusing on Wales specific issues and solutions.

The project successfully met its objective of delivering six events, beginning with a well-supported outreach phase. The partnership with PiPAalongside a dedicated Welsh-language coordinator further expanded our reach, connecting with Welsh and non-Welsh speakers alike, and particularly with freelancers-whose perspectives proved central to shaping the project’s direction and legacy.

We were able to support with PiPA with sector knowledge and networks which were instrumental in engaging venues and performing arts companies across Wales.

The overwhelmingly positive response from across the sector confirmed both the need and the appetite for this work in Wales. Our cohort was diverse in geography and scale, including most of the country’s major venues and organisations. Participants were open and generous in sharing their lived experiences, directly influencing the development of project content and cementing a collaborative legacy.

This Strategic Partnership will strengthen our relationship and the work we do together to create a more family-friendly performing arts industry in Wales.
