Edinburgh Fringe 2025
The Edinburgh Festivals are a crucial visit in the theatre calendar. We are pleased to be back with our subsidised accommodation and meet ups. This year we're arriving on Wednesday 13th August and departing on Wednesday 20th August. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow programmers and artists from across Wales, see new and exciting work, and meet with artists and companies performing at the festival. We also use the trip as a way to see work that could potentially tour across Wales or to see the work of artists /companies you may collaborate with in the future.
We know it can be expensive to attend, so Creu Cymru has arranged 7 nights of subsidised accommodation in an 8-bedroom apartment. We stay at Salisbury Court, a student accommodation complex situated tucked between Holyrood Park and the Meadows and a short walk from many of the main Fringe including Summerhall and Pleasance Courtyard. We will also be hosting a Wales get together during the week, more details will be announced soon.
What’s the cost?
Members - £100 per night.
Non-members - £110 per night
Additional guest in room - £10 per night.
Who can attend?
Any representative of a Creu Cymru membership organisation or individual can make the most of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe subsidy. There will be a booking window for members at a lower rate before we open it up to the wider sector at a slightly higher rate.
