‘Bydi Cymraeg’ is a new offer to support arts organisations in Wales to place Cymraeg at the centre of their plans and creative actions. It is an offer created in collaboration with the Welsh Language Enabler, Arts Council of Wales and Creu Cymru and will be available to organisations that are members of Creu Cymru. A member of the Welsh arts Consortium (bydi Cymraeg) will work with the successful organisations over a period of 6 months and will provide the equivalent of 12 days of their time. This time will be free of charge to the organisations who are welcome to add to the offer to extend or increase the time.

This is a pilot scheme that will be managed by Creu Cymru. Two organisations will be selected in the first year. All you need to do is express interest in being part of the scheme. You must answer the questions below to try: 

Why do you want to take up the offer? 

What benefit will the offer bring to your organisation? 

How will you support the scheme and demonstrate commitment to it? 

This offer is in addition to our Dysgu Cymraeg programme and the Cynnig Cymraeg quality mark. It would be beneficial if your organisation was already taking advantage of these schemes.
