Are you passionate about the performing arts and eager to lead a dynamic and creative team? Theatrau Sir Gar is seeking an experienced and dedicated Theatres Development Manager to help shape the future of our theatre services and enhance our cultural impact within the community.
About the Role
As Theatres Development Manager, you will lead and manage Theatrau Sir Gar, ensuring it operates as a high-quality, commercially successful, customer-focused service driving up audiences and activity through a balanced imaginative program. Working closely with existing and potential stakeholders to develop the service and its resources.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership and management of staff, budgets, buildings, audiences, and programs.
- Ensuring high standards of visitor experience and customer care.
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders as a way of ensuring best possible service delivery.
- Creating an empowering environment for staff.
- Business planning, financial performance and accurate reporting.
- Compliance with authority policies, health and safety, and licensing legislation.
You will be a creative, enthusiastic leader with substantial experience of theatre and the performing arts and the ability to manage and organise the theatres business. You will be an adaptable, flexible professional who embraces change and demonstrates a calm and measured approach to work. Experience of imaginative service delivery and a background specifically within the theatres sector and public service would be a distinct advantage.
You will be required to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays with the ability to travel and adopt agile working practices. The post is for 37 hours per week.
